2010 Census Jobs Available In Neighborhoods

The US Census is now hiring people to help on the field work for the 2010 Census.  The jobs are temporary and will start sometime between January and March and should continue into June.  The jobs pay about $14 to $18 an hour depending on the level of the position for which someone is hired.  The Census wants to hire people who live in the neighborhoods to work inthe neighborhoods.  Persons who are bilingual or multi-lingual are particularly desired to work in neighborhoods where their second language would likely be encountered.  A car would be necessary.  You must be able to commit to a 40-hour week of paid training.
